Jason's responsibilities while employed in the Plant Pathology Program at CBARC included characterizing and developing Pacific Northwest (PNW; Oregon, Washington, Idaho) wheat cultivars with tolerance and/or resistance to root-lesion nematodes (Pratylenchus neglectus and P. thornei), cereal cyst nematode (Heterodera avenae), and Fusarium crown rot (Fusarium culmorum and F. pseudograminearum).
